Good turn out of Diablos riders for this Event - competition was very stiff, as many of our Expert riders faced a weekend of 4 & 5 Racks of racers all looking to make it into the Main Event.

It was a busy race weekend for Diablos Racing. The U.S. team competed all
weekend @ River Valley BMX in Sumner, Wa., while the Canadian team was in
Vernon, B.C. The big race day was Sunday, when team riders chased down
coveted State / Provincial Titles.

Provincials … Diablos Canada, we had not heard back from all team riders,
but this is what we do know ;
-Torry Slater 16 Expert had a Hat trick on his 20″, taking 1st Place all 3
day’s and a 3rd, 4th & 2nd on his Cruiser. Unfortunately Torry had an injury
earlier this season and did not have enough qualifiers for a Provincial
Plate.
-Nicholas ‘ Hip Hop ‘ Hallam 12 Expert took a 1st Friday, 3rd Saturday &
Sunday. Hip Hop ended the weekend by taking home a #2 Provinacial Plate.
- #1 Provincial Champion Plate was awarded to 15 y.o. Expert Curtis McCoy !
- Aidan Webber walked away with the #2 Provincial Plate for 6 Expert
- Jeff Carlson earned a #3 Provincial Plate for the 19 -27 y.o. Class

Borderline is the 3rd National of the Canadian Series with only the
Canadian Grand National yet to go.

The National Pre-Race Friday night showed a lot of promise of what to
expect the rest of the weekend, though we thought. Surprise, Surprise
…. very little went down as we had expected it too on Saturday &
Sunday. The good news is … most everyone made the Mains , but
instead of pulling alot of 1st & 2nd’s like Friday - 4th & 5th Place
seemed to be our domain.

Our newest Team rider ‘ Aidan Webber ‘ was the weekend Hero, pulling a
hat trick with 3 Six y.o. Intermediate Wins. Aidans win on Sunday
moved him up to Expert. Congratulation’s Aidan !

Keaton Seese 6X - 1st Fri, 2nd Sat., 1st Sun.
Brenden Davies, Torry Slater & Randy McDaniel all had 1st Places in
Cruiser Class on Friday.
